Student Visa application rejected by Immigration. Please help

GuestPoster4

Hello. I've applied for a visa about a month ago and unfortunately, I was notified that my visa application was rejected. What are my options at this point? This is my first time applying and I have no idea what the issue is and they don't give out any explanations as to why my application was rejected.

Thank you

you need to ask your institution for rejection reason. Some rejection can be appeal. The approval chance is based on immigration decision..

My son is in a similar predicament. When he applied for visa renewal he received a letter stating that Home Affairs and the university have decided not to renew his student pass for 2020. No reasons were given. He was enrolled for a major and a minor but in 2019 he applied to change his major and this was approved but later on his application for waiver for certain courses was rejected so that meant he would have to do an extra year. Is the decision subject to appeal?
