Marriage requirement for foreigner and Malaysain couple

Hello


We are planning to marriage in Malaysia . My husband is Chinese malaysian and I m Myanmar .We are both currently working in Sinagpore.

I would Like to know the basic steps of ROM malaysia .

some ppl are saying need to stay 8 days in malaysia before submit the application.Is it true? please advise me if anyone know about this.
