Hello everyone,

I am a US citizen and so is my wife. We were married in US.

So what is the process for a US couples living outside US to file for divorce.

This question comes up once or twice a year and I think the consensus has been that one needs to start with a lawyer in the state where the marriage took place regardless of how and where the process winds up.
