Who is telling you that your KITAP cannot go past the expiry date of your passport? I suggest that you hire the services of an Immigration Consultant.

Just get a new passport and then apply. It happened to me

There is no rule that says the validity period of your passport has to match with the validity dates of your KITAP. If you have your KITAP, when your passport expires you just go to immigration and get the KITAP updated onto your new passport. It's simple. So not sure whether you have left anything out, but it shouldn't be an issue. Which immigration office told you this?

@wyngrove60..Good Morning Sir, My passport will expire on 12 March 2025 but I have KITAP until November 2028. what about if I carry both passports or still need a visa stamp on the new passport how much charge?.

You also have these documents coming along with your kitas. This you take to imigrasi with your passport and tell them to add in your new one.

@manolarvanitis: You can apply brother.  My passport will expire on 12 March 2025 and I applied for the KITAP on 15 October 2023. I already had KITAP for 5 years. Maybe I need a new visa stamp on my new passport. Let's see. Thank you
