best approach for getting residency in Indonesia ?

I have spent about 6 months in Bali and Java, and now want to live there as much as possible.


I am Australian and so get 3 months tourist visa, but that's not really enough :)


What's the best way forward ? I read that you need a sponsor or something.

I imagine those that live there have the inside scoop of the pragmatics of this.

I don't want to marry my way in btw :)

I don’t really see anything amazing about indonesia yhat you are willing to settle there. Anyway in answer to your query get an Indonesian wife or have enough money to start a business or finally which is very unlikely get a job so the company would sponsor you
