Steps and budget for opening a small restaurant in Phnom Penh

MuhamadSattar

Hello all,

I have been thinking about opening up a small restaurant in Phnom Penh, however, I’d like to understand the right steps to go about it since this would be my first time opening a business, and I’m trying to reduce my risk or at least be well aware of it!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Regards

Hi MuhamadSattar,

I invite you to read an article on the Expat guide : Setting up a business in Cambodia.
You will have more information on the formalities to open up a business and more.

Best of luck.

Hello.

As PP is full of restaurants you will need to offer something different than the usual fried rice, pizza, seafood, Indian, noodle restaurants to make a living.

There are many questions you have to answer yourself, like what do you want. Useful is the old marketing tool of 5 P's:

Product
Place
Price
Packaging
Promotion

In addition this is a link to a good website about opening a small restaurant:

Good luck!
