Can foreigners buy property in Tunisia ?

I am looking to buy/build a house in Tunisia. I was there (in Soussa) only 3 weeks ago. The purpose of the interest is to in the future to semi retire in Tunisia.

My wife is Tunisian, and we are sure we want to spend more and more time in Tunisia.

Yes it's possible for a foreinger to buy a house but not in an agricultural zone.

Be careful the process is difficult and long....

If you're not a Tunisian let's do all the formality on your wife's name if you want. It will be easier.
