Housing in Tetouan

Assalaamu'Alaykum/Salutations:

How does one find housing in Tetouan? Is it mostly by word of mouth or what? I'm looking online, but they don't seem to have much to offer, subhana'Allaah.

Any help will be appreciated.

PS: if anybody knows about how much taxes are to own a car, that would be nice.

You won't find much online because the place is quite frightful. Not many expats would choose to live there as it's rather conservative and grim. I don't think there are any reputable schools, nor any excellent private clinics.

Just one example, the place was convulsed with anti gay riots a few years ago, something that I don't think has ever happened in an equivalent other town in Morocco.

Why on earth do you want to go there? It's just about the last place in Morocco anyone would choose.
