There's a cheap and friendly gym at Chemin vingt pied in Grand Bay. I don't remember the name, but it's situated in the same building as a restaurant called "the Country Club". It open until 7.30pm.

can anyone help with the number for harmony.  The one number that's posted earlier doesn't work.  And does anyone know what the joining fee is on top of the monthly fee.

Have you tried Sporting Club in pet aux Canonniers ?

I heard from colleagues that one of the gym in the list is just to small and to crowded so that you always have to wait until you can use the machines. A friend of mine just joined a Gym which is in Pavillon, that is when coming from Grand Baie, heading to Cap Malheureux on the chemin 20pieds, when you reach that 90 degrees corner where before there is a bus station and NHDC houses to your right, you turn into your left, after lets say 100m there is a building with 1 storey and there is a gym there. My friend says its ok and no traffic jam on the machines

But in case you want to do something different, join us for Jujitsu on Tuesdays and Fridays at 19:00 in Calodyne at the Bushido Jujitsu Club!
