Thanks for the response well i will like to know if i can get job over there because my main purpose is to come over there and settle down
also i will like to know the cost of living like house etc for a single guy like me
although there is still a lots of question i will ask but would want you to answer me this for now

Jobs will depend on your competency and experience and the fields in Mauritius with labour shortages.
This is because there is a minimum wage that companies have to pay expats and they have to justify recruiting a foreigner over a local.

Rent for a house/apartment will depend on many factors - the location, size, standing and facilities available. You can get one for cheap but with limited amenities and in a boring neighbourhood or you can settle for an expensive one in a nice location with everything you need.
