Living in Pointe aux Canonniers

Hi only been on the island a month and been in the office 24/7 so not much time to explore but have been pleasantly surprised after working as an expat in various African countries. Currently looking at renting an apartment in Point aux Canonniers. Any drawbacks to this area?

Pointe aux Cannoniers is indeed a really nice place, it is found in the middle between mon choisy and grand bay. Lots of stuff over there. Only drawback maybe its rocky beach, thats all.

Depends on your own preferences,

Pointe aux Canonniers is a touristy area like the rest of the Northern region and also quite popular among expats. Can get busy at night especially on Friday night and during weekend.

If you are OK with that, then you should be fine in POC.
