Anyone know if there's a rugby union club on the island?
If not, then at least somewhere where rugger fans can watch Six Nations, Tri-Nations, World Cup, English Aviva Premiership, South African games, etc, in mutual appreciation over a few beers?

Big Willys in Tamarin has a big screen and DSTV and airs all SA games. Always lots of SA suporters there. There is a rugby union too... and a rugby club. I think ask someone at the Riverland Gym Club as I think the rugby operates from there... (all in Tamarin)

Yes there are many Rugby clubs in Mauritius and regular compititions are held amongs them...In the North there is the Northern Tigers sponsored by the Beach House which is a restuarant in Grand Bay where lots of Rugby fans go to watch the various games (btw one of the owners who can be seen there often is a former Springbok Rugby player. The Patch and Parrot also in the north is also a big rugby hangout for games
