Rugby

Big Willys in Tamarin has a big screen and DSTV and airs all SA games. Always lots of SA suporters there. There is a rugby union too... and a rugby club. I think ask someone at the Riverland Gym Club as I think the rugby operates from there... (all in Tamarin)

Is there any club in the North ?

Yes there are many Rugby clubs in Mauritius and regular compititions are held amongs them...In the North there is the Northern Tigers sponsored by the Beach House which is a restuarant in Grand Bay where lots of Rugby fans go to watch the various games (btw one of the owners who can be seen there often is a former Springbok Rugby player.  The Patch and Parrot  also in the north is also a big rugby hangout for games

So we have the Northern Pirates as well out of Belle Vue.
Seems like there's quite a rugby scene on the island.
