Hi,I had the chance to dive at least 20 times in Mauritius and I must say I had a lot of fun! If anybody wants more information about the different clubs here, let me know, I can help! I'm a keen diver and planning to move to Mauritius around middle of 09. Can you let me know about the diving clubs available and costs? I hope there are places that don't charge you tourist rates just because you're foreigner.

Have you got any idea of where in Mauritius you're going to live?

As long as you've got a work permit you won't pay the same price.

Yep, I'll be living around Grand Baie, but will have a car so can travel around. I will have residency/work permit (mauritian wife).
Looking forward to doing some regular diving. The sea in Singapore is a bit murky!

Ok great, there are a few diving spots near Trou aux biches and Pereybere I am sure you'll like them!
