Domestic Part Time helper - registrations, etc

Asking for some guidance please on what is actually required to be in place if one employs a part-time domestic helper for a few hours per week looking after a property - ( 6 hours per week) we do not live in Mauritius permanently yet so visit a number of times a year - as I can understand so far there has to be a contract in place with hours, job description, etc and then also reading about some of the fees one has to be registered for to pay - NPF - national pension fund, NSF - national savings fund and then a CSG - finding the information a bit unclear to be honest as was trying to fathom out are there minimum amounts, etc. Does one have to register as an employer even if not living permanently. Thank you in advance for any advice.

It depends on how you employed them. If it is a private arrangement, they do work & you pay them. This is like any other person that you hire to do private work for you. This does not require anything. There is no law that says you have to register as an employer in this case - whether you live here or not. If you hired them under a business name with BRN & that business pays them, you would already be paying things like CSG.
