Any spousal visa changes in Kenya for foreign spouses of all genders?

Hi,  I am unsure what you mean by a spousal visa?  To the best of my knowledge, there is no spousal visa as such.  A dependent pass is available if your Kenyan spouse is working and can evidence being able to support you.  Failing this, it would be a case of trying to apply for a work permit, or perhaps a Class K permit - these applications would essentially ignore whether you have a Kenyan spouse.


Being married to a Kenyan entitles a spouse to apply for Permanent Residency after 3 years and for the marriage to be ongoing for 7 years to be eligible for citizenship.
