Hi Alami,
You won't find any jobs in Cape Verde by posting a message like this in this forum. Employers are not looking at these posts. First of all, if you want to work in CV you will need to learn Portuguese or Kriolu. Unless you wish to work in the tourism industry where most of the employers are big hotels and restaurants that cater to primarily English-speaking tourists. They are always looking to higher English speaking staff. However, unfortunately, due to Covid, tourim is running at about 90% below the normal levels. So there are no jobs in tourism at the moment. You'll hav to wait till next year for the recovery.
Yet, given your experience and culinary skills, you have the perfect profile to start your own business by opening a restaurant with North African cuisine maybe even combined with North African teas and shisha. Such an offering does not exist in Cabo Verde and may be very successful in Sal or Boavista (when the tourists return in force in 2022) or even in Praia (the capital) where there are many foreign expats who enjoy new international cuisine options. Your restaurant would be frequented by the foreign diplomats, embassy workers, United Nations staff, EU staff, and local professionals, business owners and politicians. Given that type of patronage, you would be able to charge significantly more than the small local restaurants which cater to the poorer classes.
Regards,
Angelo
