Make poverty history!

Julien, what I do here in the US is I go fetch gift certificates for fast food joints and cafes.  If you already know the owner or a manager it helps a lot.  Then it helps even more if you buy a bunch of them at once.  Then instead of giving the homeless/indigent any money they could spend on drugs or booze, they have a meal in their stomach.  Lots of times that means more than anything else.

Of course outside the US those options may not be available.

I also want that.... a world without poverty..
If possible...

Scrap a few aircraft carriers and use the cash to educate .... no hope - too much cash in killing people.

We would be fortunate if we can make poverty history! Actually there should be proper planning to eradicate it ,to ensure the humanity among human beings.
How  nice if we can do so?

In reality it will never happen. Money to be made in war and other peoples misfortunes.
