High school education online

I have never heard of such a thing, and I doubt it exists.
Why don't you put her into an international school at the location you move to?

Hi beppi, will be travelling constantly so physical school not option. Got more info on GED and SAT high school qualifications just a few minutes ago, any ideas around this??

In some countries (e.g. USA), home schooling is "in" - but in others (e.g. Germany) it is illegal. In any case, home schooling webpages might give you some idea about how to do it.
But I'd be afraid that constant travelling does not give your daughter a chance of focused studying and applying the learned in appropriate surroundings. Her results will probably be worse than without travelling (but she might learn other things on the road),

A boarding school is a possible option but that has obvious disadvantages for family life.
Changing curriculum so late into her education would cause serious issues.

Have you considered home schooling but discussing with the SA government (Embassies) if they could help provide an examination room so your daughter can take exams still connected to the government education system and in South African government surroundings?

The constant disruption of travelling will definitely deteriorate your daughter's school performance. Is your broken heart really more important than her future? (I know what I would decide in your position!)

Lukereg, that is an excellent suggestion!  I am busy exploring the homeschooling route (been at it since just after 7h00) this minute and am finding loads of interesting info and I now feel there is light at the end of the tunnel.  GED seems to be the equivalent of SAfrican Grade 12, as well as SAT (which are available online a.ka. homeschooling)  I'm soldiering on and will be able to provide some facts regarding my search.  Still open to discussions and input. Well, there is tuition online. Just do double check are these online schools proved. You can also find teachers who can prepare your daughter for A level exams. My friend finished A levels without attending usual school. She was constantly studying on Skype with a teacher. As far as I remember she applied for exams at some private school in London.
Just make sure that your daughter will manage to learn online. Also, it depends on the subjects which she is planning to take. If she is planning to take biology or chemistry, it can cause difficulties to study online. My friend did mathematics, language, business and economics. There was no problem.
Also, online learning requires financial input which can be higher that a usual one.

Thanks, Annabelle, I appreciate your input!  I'm very happy to hear that, as I see it more achievable and possible the further I investigate.  Could you tell me, is A levels sufficient to apply for admission at most Universities in Europe (Commonwealth) or only for the UK?  I have also come across AS levels, which seem to be a higher level of A level, not necessarily needed.  I am narrowing my search daily and am confident I will be able to make a well-informed decision which will be 100% to my daughters' benefit and educational advantage!

So...
Yes, A-level program suits to most of Europe University. As far as I remember you only have to be careful with a number of subjects.
First of all, let's make it clear. A-level program consists of 2 years. The first year is AS and the second year is A2. A2 is counted as completed course, AS as a half of it.
Usually, a student has to start with 4 AS subjects. After the first year, he/she has to drop one subject and carry one with 3 subjects. In the end, he/she should complete 3 A2 level subjects. Student take 4 subjects at the begging of his/her A -level program just to see how it goes. Also, after the first year, it becomes more clear which university or which direction of studies to take further. That helps to see which 3 A2 subjects is better to do.
However, some universities require some AS subjects. Let's say, 1 AS and 3 A2 or 2AS and 3 A2. It depends on the university and also a country. With British Universities, it is easier to check. I am not sure how many AS or A2 you need in other European Universities. But I am 100% sure that A-level program suits to the most of the good universities in the world.

Ouh... I cannot say which online school will be appropriate for learning. I assume it is better to find the private teacher and prepare by yourself. Let's say if you plan to take A level Business Studies I suggest to get some lessons from the private teacher and read the whole course by yourself, including A level exams solving. For such subject as business studies, you have to have read a book most of the time and practise essay. In the end, you have to know how to implement basic into your essay and how to write the essay.
But if your question was about the place where you can write the exam, check private schools. Usually, they provide the possibility to write exams at their school without attending school. Of course, it is not for free.
