Many happy returns of the day, dear chap.
Thanks to everybody for the warm wishes. Tomorrow will be a very special day for me mostly because of having so many friends sending their wishes through Expat-blog.

Abbie and Phaedra, lots of love to you both.... hugs & kisses

Fred, I've got to admit this is the first time in my 64 years that I've had a jumping sheep send a B'day greeting. Kind of a hoot really!

Cheers,

Hi Salman,

Thanks so very much for your warm wishes. You've helped make this day something very special for me.

Hi Julien,

For someone who seems to have such a way with words, I find myself totally without words to express my feelings today. My life has been so very blessed because of my involvement with Expat-blog that it's unbelievable. I never dreamed that I would ever have people in every corner of the globe sending me greetings and good wishes. Today will be forever engraved in my memory as one of the most remarkable days in my life and one that surely will be very difficult to surpass. Now I really know what it means to be part of something much bigger than myself.

Cheers,
James
There once was a man from Ontario
Who later moved out to the barrio
He married a sheep
Which made him lose sleep
Now their son is named Mario
Oh Hailey, trust you to be the one to make my sides split with you special brand of humor. You're Number 1 with a bullet! (Don't worry if you're too young to know what that saying means - it great, just trust me). Thanks for the birthday greeting gal, you're my fav.

BTW, you almost scored 10 out of 10 with your little rhyme, our little guy's name actually does start with M, but it's Matheus not Mario. LOL.

One question though.... where the heck do you keep your crystal ball hidden anyway? You got some kind of spyware or radar with me in it's crosshairs???? hehehe

Warm regards,
James

That sounds like a threat.  Where's that ban button?

That doesn't rhyme.  The good news is you're not from Saskatchewan.

You need to remember to turn off your webcam from time to time.

Shoot, forgot about that nasty old webcam! Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry Gary, I should have told you NEVER to try to mail anything in Brazil, it's exactly like that here too!!!   hahahaha
Do Brazilian restaurants have senior citizen discounts?
NO they don't, but on the plus side now I can ride the bus for free. I'll take that over a meal discount any old day.
Is the bus more expensive than a meal in Brazil?
Depends on where in Brazil you are. If you've been getting any international news there have been many violent demonstrations all over Brazil because of recent increases in bus fares.
The only time they talk about Brazil here is for the Olympics and that soccer thing.
