Looking For Help in Finishing Bachelors Thesis

DavidPi

Dear Mr XXX or Mrs, XXX

Let me first introduce myself. My name is David de Wit and I am studying Business Studies at the University of Amsterdam Business School. Last year I studied in Barcelona for half a year and when I came back it was time to get started on my Bachelors thesis. Being abroad was part of my growing interest in expatriates.

My curiosity about expatriates got to the point where I decided to write my thesis about it.
The subject of my thesis is: ‘Work Performance and Intentions to Leave Country as A Subject of Personality Caracteristics’. For this investigation it is neccisary to obtain information from expatriates. I would like to ask you to help me in my research by completing a survey.

The survey can be found at the following link: Click Here to take survey

If the link above doesn’t work you can help me at: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=y … 6foQ_3d_3d

It will take between 5 and 10 minutes of your time.

If you would like to gain information from this survey as well after filling it in please ask me and I will send you a copy of my findings.

Yours Sincerely,

David de Wit

David...I went to go through your survey, and I think your results will have a lot more validity if you rewrite it...I am sorry to say that, but many of the questions are asked in the negative for instance, "don't like myself" and then when the reader has to answer they are forced to employ a double negative which is often confusing, and many people will answer opposite to what they actually intend.  This will largely invalidate your findings.  I would suggest that you get some assistance with the wording of the questionaire, as that can have a radical impact on your findings.  It would be important to state all of the questions as either positive or negative so that they answers you receive will be a more accurate reflection of peoples feelings.

Good luck

Thank you for your comment.

I did have help from my professors, and they helped me with this list wich contains positive and negative questions to get a better accuracy.

For this approach is chosen to let people think about questions instead of filling in the same box with every question.

Hope you are still willing to fill in my questionairre.

Greetings David

Julien
