Yes it is. I'm not a very active user honestly, just send private messages for jobs.

You should participate more on the forum to be able to unlock your user options.
As for job offers/ applications i would suggest you to use the classifieds section.

Yea, I've posted on the classifieds, but I'm also trying to send messages to certain people.

How long does it take to unlock the user options?

Dear Mona,

Please note that classifieds is the only section you should advertise your offers.
Sending unsollicited messages to members is against the site's policy.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. But it is still making contacting people difficult. As an expat American living in Cairo, sometimes it helps to find some people with similar backgrounds on here and begin a correspondence. I hope this can be resolved.
