Is Bali Still Affordable in 2026, or Has It Become Too Expensive? 🇮🇩

Hey everyone!

I've had my eye on Bali but keep coming across conflicting reports about its affordability as a travel destination. Some say Bali is still a cheap place to go but others say accommodation, meals, transport and popular attractions are more than doubled in price.

Could I still justify a Bali trip as a reasonably-priced holiday, coming from Australia?

I'm really interested in how much it actually costs to travel around, dine out, book accommodation, and what it costs to travel to locations like Ubud, Seminyak and Uluwatu. Are there any costs we might not think of as first time visitors?

I'd also be interested to find out whether booking flights and accommodation separately will actually be a better option than booking a holiday deal.
