Roger which area you living in? I don't have kids, but there a lot families based in D2. Id take a wander over to Snap Cafe plenty of families hang out there, wont take her long to meet some friends I'm sure :-)

Hi! Roger here, I am near the British International School...about 200 meters from the Secondary school off the main road the school is on.

Hi Roger, well your certainly in the right area, plenty of families round there. Like i said have a wander down to Snap cafe have a chat with some of the people down there and I'm sure you soon find some like minded friends.
keep in mind its that time of year when the main schools finish and some expats are heading home, so the next month or so could be fairly quiet.
