I am looking to buy a few cow hides while here in Nairobi. Any ideas on price and places to buy. I know I have seen them displayed on the highway to Naivasha, but I have no idea the asking price. Is there anywhere in town?

Hi,
I understand that there is a place at Sagana, on the (A2) highway between Thika and Nyeri, that cures and tans cowhide. It has recently been recommended to us, but we have yet to check it out.

Also there is the Bata Factory in Limuru just outside Nairobi where you can go in and choose the hide.
