I'm British expat and I'm moving to kl next month or so.
I would like to know whether I can use my uk license or do I need to convert it.
Also are there any long term car rentals-i.e. 2-3 months before I buy my own wheels?

KL's traffic is a car park so it's much better to use public transport if you're staying within the city.

To exchange you willl need the DVLA authentication. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/living-in-m … d-vehicles There is some confusion whether that is sufficient to continue driving on a UK licence these days.
