Singaporean to buy a car in Malaysia

Hi there,

I was a Malaysian just converted to Singaporean living in Singapore. But my family is still living in KL.

Recently, they want to get a car and ask me to register with my name (non of my family have EPF so they are not entitle to get loan from bank).

So my questions:
1. Can a Singaporean own a Malaysia car?
2. Will i pay any tax? What kind of tax? if so, where is the tax going to be deducted from?
3. What kind of support documents the bank needs?
4. Any other matters?
