Is 8500 AED Salary is sufficient ?

Hi Everyone,

I've been informed that I am entitled to choose 8000 to 10,000 AED salary for my 9 years experience into Information Technology industry. I mistakenly without proper analysis I send confirmation that 8500 AED is okay for me. I am a single person now but going to get married very very soon that is on road to get engaged soon. Please advise whether 8500 is sufficient to survive with wife by my side. Or Should I ask for more How much should I negotiate for 9 yrs experience?

Hi Sravan,

Do you have other benefits included in your package ? Healthcare insurance ? Accomodation or allowance ? Flight ticket annual ? etc...

If no, it will be difficult to live with only this salary

Dear Sravan,

It all depends on the way you live your life in UAE, if you take little control on your expenses on the daily basis, it's more than enough to lead a good lifestyle in that budget, i have a friend who is living with her wife and his earning is only 3500.
