Philippines Call Centers

For the past 6 years, I've been involved with the call center industry as it has been the highestn demand here now.  I'm sure there are many of you who are in the call center industry.  I'm a broker now for spaces and I might be looking for a space in Manila that can accomodate about 1000 seats or so  I have an American client who is interested and ready in opening call centers in Manila. Please if you have insights, you may reply or send me pm. Thanks

Hi rsrexpat,

You may put an advert in the Manila classifieds > accommodation section - offices, commercials.. as well.

Wish you good luck in your search,

I think your American client is about 5 years too late!

Maybe tell him to invest in AR - most call centres will be automated and autonomous in the next few years. Staffing needs will be extremely minimal and .PH lacks the broadband capacity to stay ahead in such a competitive internet infrastructure-heavy marketplace.

Likewise, fully trained, competent staff will likely be based in home territories as there is a backlash against overseas jobs. The basic stuff will all be handled by AR [augmented reality] so the Philippines will likely be hit hard (not yet - but it's coming......)

You may want to partner with BPAP since they are connected to all call centers in the Philippines.

Thank you.

Well there is a ray of Sunshine.  Having been in the industry as a retention specialist I can assure you the last thing my customers wanted to talk to was a machine. Though I will concede automation is coming. Which brings me to an observation I made while in Leyte after Typhoon Yolanda. The Philippine Government and its international supporters could have brought in all kinds of automated machinery to rebuild the roads in days. Instead they relied on local manual labor to do much of the work. I pondered that for a long while WHY WOULD THEY DELAY? . Jobs!! people must have jobs. smart very smart,

If there are no people who could refer an office space/serviced office/seat leasing service provider here, you may want to consider looking it up in google.
