Hi. I'm Canadian who want to live in Spain at retirement. What are the rules? Must I buy a 500k Euros house in Spain to be able to settle in Spain? Thanks for your help.

You do not have to buy a house worth 500k but must bee able to show you can afford go live here and that you also have private medical insurance. Where about are you looking to move to. If you are looking around the Costa del Sol in the south then you will find house prices higher but further north they are much better. We live on the Costa Blanca/Costa Calada border in a 3 bed 2 bath 2 reception single level (bungalow) which we pay around 100000 for.
