This forum i used to get help and information,so

Regarding Topic dicussed here i want to share my experience,

I have MBA finace, my profession was General Accountant and from 4 years i was registered in SOCPA as temporary member and got renew it every year,

My iqama was getting expire on mid of Aug22 and start of month my HR asked me to renew SOCPA SO that she can renew my iqama.

I checked that time that i could not be able to renew SOCPA as MBA is not acceptabke for it.

I checked many forum also expat.com and make my decision ti change the Profession from Accountant to to Financial analysis that is not required SOCPA MEMBERSHIP.

My HR tried alot to change my profession by she could not thru absher. The SOCPA IS linked to MRHSD and my memebership was cancelled.

Then i request my HR to do it manually and apply in MOL office and it took almost 2 month and they changed my profession and today i get renewed my Iqama.

For Manually profession change application, they asked my degree ,experience letters as finance profession then they send request to Riyadh and assign me Financial analyst profession that was matching to my degree and experience.

This long detailed my writing may help someone, and thank you all who wrote here to help other as i got help from your words.

I need information about SOCPA VAT Specialist Certificate. My profession is Internal Auditor فني تدقيق حسابات  having temporary membership with SOCPA & degree is under verification. As per SOCPA requirements I have fulfill the academic credit HRS.

My question is that, is there any requirements from SOCPA for Internal Auditors to getting VAT Specialist Certificate from SOCPA? Is it compulsory or not? Please answer

Can you tell me which subjects mentioned on your degree I also done my B. Com From India there are 6 subjects match criteria as per SOCPA needed but on the mail the person is not able to understand because on my Three years marksheets mentioned only group but on the degree all the subjects are mentioned

any one can suggest me how to solve my issue

any one know any consultant in Makkah or Jeddah

I visited to SOCPA office Jeddah The employee checked my documents and said upload your all transcript electronically I uploaded all I got reply on mail but still they are unable to understand that my subjects are mentioned on the Degree

And how long it took for the changes..pls advice

@Yusuf MS in how many days you get. Permanent membership of socpa. After providing clear copy of marksheet.

Dear All,

My SOCPA membership was temporary and I had uploaded my Bcom degree along with 3 year marksheet.

My Bcom degree is attested and validated by the Saudi Consulate in Mumbai and stamped.

SOCPA has tried to verify the marksheets online from Mumbai university but as my year of passing was 1991 they require me to visit the University in person to validate.

My renewal is in September 2023 and am not sure how to go about to satisfy the request of SOCPA.

The requirements page mentions degree required and marksheet or transcript optional.

I am sure there might be other residents who have the very same degree where the accounting hours were assessed. The same logic should be applied here.

Not sure if I would want to stay in a country where the process is a nuisance and does not add any value.

I have also a invalid Account my issue is that i have 1 Final Transcript of b.com that contain both years subject

1st i visited socpa riyadh and no one help me they said send your concern by email.

After one week i again go get my ticket and this time i my turn goes to another saudi man.

He checked my b.com transcript and ask the same questions where is part one i explained him and shows my university website where they mentioned 2 years program and subject.

Then he ask ok now its fine now you have 4 accounting subject and you must have 5 to complete 15 credit hours.

Then he ask me you have master degree i said yes MBA He said there you studied any accounting course i said yes he checked and he told me to scan both b.com and mba transcript and upload again and come back i did same time and went back to him.

He called his support team and he tell them details and ask them to activate my account.

He told to sit and open online portal and refresh you account after 5.mints my account get active and now its under process of degree verification.

This last 10 days what i experience the support guy at socpa this man is like a angle for me he solved my issue in 10 mints.

He said after degree verification complete you will get permanent membership.

Any body need help about the process ***

I have also a invalid account my issue is that i have uploaded diploma but i have Bachelors degree also with all attestation.

I visited socpa Jeddah office he checked my transcript and degree and ask to pay the verification fees again. 

I paid the fees 500 SAR and send email which includes all my documents now its more then one months they are telling me your documents is being verified once finish you will be notified.

Then are not activating my account until they finished the degree verification process.

Now i have last 10 days in iqama expiry.

Please help me...
