:DHello. My name is Shelly and I am now a resident in ITALY!!!  I live near Torino and near my mother in law!!!! VERY NEAR!!! I'm married to an Italian and have two lovely little boys and a sweet little cat we call Pumpkin :D

I attempted living in Italy once before and it was a GIANT struggle for me. So we moved back to the states for a couple of years. My husband has convinced me to give it another try and I am really hoping it turns into a wonderful experience.

I would love to meet some other moms or friendly people!!!

Dear Shelly,
From your screen name it sounds like you are from Michigan.  My husband and I currently live in a Grand Rapids suburb.  My husbands employer is based in Fiorono and they have offered a seconment for 2 years.  I recently returned from a week long visit to the area to look at schools, housing, etc.  We have a 9 and 11 year old.  We have to make our decision soon and I am very worried that I won't be able to do it.  With my husband at work and the kids at school what will I do all day??  I'm prone to depression so that is a major concern.  I wonder what were the things that made it hard for you the first time?
I hope things are going better for you this time.:)
Sincerely,
Aimee
