Shipping belongings/ dogs to Mauritius and where to live in the West!

Hi All

I will be relocating from France to MU in April 2021 with my wife, 7 yr old daughter and 2 small dogs. We have picked the West as our preferred choice having holidayed there and due to the school (Paul et Virginie).

However, I would love to hear peoples experiences of living in the West and what they like and don't like. My office will be in the West and we have a second office in Ebene.

My questions are:

Tamarin vs Flicq en Flac to live? In terms of beaches, activities for a family, tranquilty, safety? Would also be interested to hear from those also in the West in areas such as Albion or Le Morne area.
How long is the drive at peak times to Ebene from Tamarin/Flic en Flacq (I hear its bad!) and also to Cascavelle?
Has anyone shipped their belongings from France/EU to MU and can recommend a good company?
Can anyone recommend a good service to advise on importing 2 small dogs?
