Hello everybody,

The COVID-19 crisis inevitably impacts Bahrain, between closed airports or periods of containment in some cities or even the entire country .
We would like to hear from you during this unusual period, to find out what the consequences of this pandemic are on your expatriation or expatriation project in Bahrain.

Does the current crisis call into question your long-term expatriation project?
If you are already settled in Bahrain, do you plan to return to your home country?

How are you living through such an uncertain period, especially if you are far from your loved ones?

Have any of you ended your expatriation in Bahrain unexpectedly?

Paradoxically, has this crisis brought you closer to some people?

What are your plans for the future?

Thank you very much for your feedback.

Hope you are doing well.

Loïc.

The  COVID_-19 pandemic has affected my mode of work. I now work  from home and undertake most of work activities online. I live in the company building where I feel very safe and secure. My salary has not been affected and I think the government of Bahrain is doing an excellent job in managing the COVID-19 situation. I am observing all the guidelines and directives of the government. I will not travel home until the virus is under control.

The current pandemic has affected my livelihood as I can hardly earn a living I'm self employed and not stationed, no salary, no income . I would have love to travel home if I had tickets before the situation worsened but I'm stuck now and running out of savings. I pray and hope the situation abates and things get normal again. Living now from hand to mouth is really difficult. I have myself and family to feed. Covid 19  is taking a toll on expatriates particularly. As I type this someone is contemplating suicide God help us.

Hello,

I am a Canadian stuck in Bahrain desperately trying to be repatriated to Canada. I wonder if there are any Canadians out there who can help me. I am in a dire situation now.

Thank you

I am exactly the same situation. Can we talk please and maybe help each other out?

I think for me it’s simple I am not having issues. But not everyone is the same.
