Did you renegociate your rent?

Good for you, but if you have that amount of money you should invest it in something else. A socialism regime can always claim your property. Let's say my parents had some experiences with the Russian guys. Oh, they confiscated our land and built a lemonade factory on our land and now we are in charge to clean it. The lake and land are heavily polluted. The factory is still there till the end of time.

Please dont think that post was meant to be like some posts on here like "oh look how much money I have" I am not a person like that its not part of my personality to boast about wealth really!

And I  did not keep them all mate that was on an 14 years time scale & anyways the Vietnamese wife claimed them when we split up :o  Now I am left with one & happy :D & it does not matter how much money you throw at it, the end result is pretty much the same. I have been inside a house here in HCMC valued at over a million bucks & if you have a critical eye you can see all the half ass'd work even on them. But Vietnamese owner was chuffed to bits with it so who am I to spoil his happiness.
On another point Sobie & I am not picking here but I have to disagree with the point there is no middle class here certainly in HCMC. In my area (Q12) Tan Toi Nhat there are many beautiful houses in the 5 to 10 billion or even more price range, all owned by Vietnamese families, all with cars, kids at private schools etc etc. or school in the west. They are not in the super rich band but certainly not poor or working class  either believe me.

One wife or one Apartment

The handyman has still to be invented here. In creating they're fantastic but then....... the maintenance is just like "why" and even for motorbikes, no oil change,  no problem. It's still driving. Within 10 years when you have middle class, things will change but before that, it's just too much money and they are right. It's still cheaper for most Vietnamese to build a new house than paying maintenance for 30 years.

Sorry I dont wear the creating fantastic bit, i have been involved with having 2 houses, a love hotel built in the sticks & bought 3 new apartments in HCMC & the standard of work is absolutly disgracefull, especially the finishing off & electrical work, just dont even go there. One thing though I really admire them for is the work they do in finishing concrete, its brilliant & like an art form!

I think you mean cement render, not concrete. Concrete has aggregate, render doesnt.

When will these leveraged landlords run out of cash? Does someone know more about household debt?

Many Americans don't have a money cushion. 52% have maed out their cedit cards.

Scary times.
