Hello forum,
I'm TCN and moving out from Malta to Germany. What would you advise before leaving?
Nothing but closing a bank account comes to mind. Should I notify any authorities/tax department about it?

I would have thought it advisable to notify the tax office.

If you have no outstanding issues with the tax authoritıies no need to advise them. Make sure to settle all your bills. utilities etc, return keys to landlord and switch off the light as you leave. Safe journey and enjoy Germany.

The reason I suggested informing the tax office was in case he has a refund due.
