Hi everyone,

Every year, we invite expats who are living in Ireland to share their experience and tell us more about the average price of products and services in their town, city or area, so that we can help future expats planning to settle in Ireland.
We would like to thank you in advance for your contribution.

In regards to student living in Dublin it is very expensive! Landlords are definitely using the housing shortage to exploit. I have friends paying 1000 euro a month for a very average single room. I would say prices in North Dublin are more reasonable than South Dublin. Travel wise for students a leap card has a cap of 20 euro a week so on average public transport would cost a student 80 euro a month.

How about a 1 Bedroom in Westport area ?
