Influential and Admirable Vietnamese Women

Maybe we can have 1 thread about admirable Vietnamese women without someone needing to denigrate them?

BBC Includes Two Vietnamese Women In List Of 100 Most Influential Women In The World

Anyone care to share about how they have been impressed and influenced by admirable Vietnamese women in everyday life?

Although I think Vietjet no longer has bikini clad air hostesses. At least not on my last two flights.  :(

I too admired her, until I found out her family is connected to top officials in Ha Noi.

It's almost impossible if not totally impossible to be at the top of anything big, to achieve great success, or to be notable in this country without a connection in Hà Nội.  It's an unavoidable fact of life.

Toi ngac nhien. Nature abhors a vacuum.

My wife.

Check out the photo from Beach's link of the young lady sitting just a few feet away from a rhino.  This may be a tamed animal in a zoo, but rhinos are reputedly both very near sighted and very temperamental.  She seems very brave but also rather foolhardy.

"Her husband is Nguyen Thanh Hung, owner of Sovico Holdings . Sovico Holdings is holding a number of prominent brands in Vietnam, such as HDBank and Vietjet Air, and is the founder of VIB and Techcombank."

She's one of 2 billionaires ($dollars) in Vietnam and her husband isn't the other one.  :unsure

I went to the same school same year with Trang, one of the two on the list. Don't really know each other even back then but she is influential to me (at least I almost never use one-use plastic stuff anymore, kinda hard actually since if I don't notice waiters will very quickly place a plastic straw into my glass:(. Hopefully she will be influential to a much larger group of people.
