Hi, could anyone guide me on one thing. I have come to India in Dammam on an employment visa a few days ago, but upon coming here, I find myself in a very poor quality accommodation in an obscure location. The sponsor has asked me to sign the contract but I have asked them to upgrade my accommodation and then only I will sign otherwise I need to go back. If I need to go back to India, does the sponsor give exit visa and ticket? Could someone enlighten me on this, what is the process of getting an exit visa...I have heard that they try to recover their expenses, but right now I have not earned anything so won't be able to pay them for exit visa.

No one here can tell you how your sponsor will react.
In majority of the cases, they want to recover their expenses. If you don't pay them, then you are stuck.
