Potentially moving to Turkey with questions.

Hello Everyone,
My name is Britt and about 5 years ago I spent 4 days in Marmaris while deployed with the US Navy. I absolutely loved it. Fell in love with the people, the food, the hospitality, the animals, everything. I currently own 2 Kangal dogs because of my experiences with the breed while visiting. I am seriously considering moving but I need to know more. Is $3,000 USD a month enough to live on in Turkey? Ideally I would be looking to rent a home on a decent amount of land with a fence (for the animals) until I am more accustomed to the area. I can't live in one of the large cities, where are some good places where I can live comfortably in the country, not far from town, with english as my only language for now? Thank you! This wouldn't be an immediate thing, I am thinking 1-2 years down the road. I would be "retiring" in the country and living off disability from my military service.
