Need help finding where to live in Norway

Post new topic

lodfrodo

Hello, I am an American living in Dallas, TX. It has been my dream to move to Norway or just somewhere other then America for a long time. I am looking for what city or town would be best for me to live in and need some help.

Requirements.
-Can live there without using a car and still be comfortable; use public transport, bike, walk, etc. instead
-Can get a job in computer science
-Must be safe
-Tolerant people; ok with atheists, homosexuals, asexuals, etc.

Would like to have, but can live without.
-Separate bike lanes from the road
-Not too conservative (by American standards)
-Not to many or no beggars

Thank you!

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

At the top of this page is a link to our Discover section, if you mouse-over that, you get a drop-down menu, one option you'll get is our Norway Guide; this contains many items on subjects you'll find useful in helping you plan your journey.

I'd advise you to read that and the articles inside it, then if you have any specific questions, come back to us.

Hope this helps.
