Hello!
Anyone has any infos about how to get a Visa or work permit in uk for expat canadians (with frech resident card and canadian passport). I live in France and would like to work in a pub for 2 or 3 mounths. Do I need a Visa for a short period of time (less than 6 mounths) like europeen community cityzen?

Any info or link is taken, thanks for helping!

Unless you also have French citizenship, you will need a visa to come work in the UK. You CANNOT work whilst on a visitors visa, and you will probably find that it is not worth your while to apply for a visa that will allow you to work for only a 2-3 month period, and visas for non-skilled work are very hard to come by.

However, as a Canadian citizen, you may be eligible for an ancestory visa if you happen to have a grandparent born in the UK.
