Opening a bank account in the PH

Hi guys,

I'm a 23yo French. I'm planning on moving to the Philippines in less than a year and I want to work there.
For now I'm earning money via internet, and I'm paid on Paypal, so I keep most of my money on it and only transfer what I need to my French bank account.

Now I don't know how banks work in the Philippines but I'm wondering if it's hard to open a bank account there as a foreigner... I will be with a local if it helps

I intend to find a regular job there but while I'm searching for one I want to transfer directly my money from Paypal to a filipino bank account to avoid conversion fees

I would like to know which bank will allow me to open a bank account and also which bank is the cheapest one. Ah and do they have requirements regarding the status and visas?
