My better half creates videos for travel, of the family and she also does some commercial videos for companies too. She's using Final cut Pro, for editing.

No idea of meetings or gatherings in Jakarta. This site is a bit useless so don't expect much help here. You can probably get more success with local groups. Funnily a local friend of mine just came back from the US after be selected for one of his short films. Try the local community as I am sure you'll have more luck.
