Friends,

I am an IT graduate (10 years experience as IT Business Analyst)

Already I have 165 points without NZ job offer Letter. Shall I eligible for getting NZ Resident Visa?

Because, in the NZ website, it is mentioned that we need either NZ job offer or NZ two years Mater degree education to obtain direct resident visa.

Please guide me if you have knowledge about this.

Welcome to the forum.

The 165 points will not get you a resident visa. Best you find a job, work in NZ and then apply for residency. That will indicate to immigration that you are positive about residing in NZ.

IT jobs are on the required skills list here in NZ and applicants are looked on favorably if all their qualifications and paperwork are in order.

Is residence visa depand on the points scored or is it that NZ immigration only grants Job search Visa only now. And residence is issued only once job is attained.

Please confirm.
