Hi all,
I'm moving to Mauritius in Jan 2019, does anyone know if you can send money from Mauritius to sa with an mur bank account?

I doubt you can have an account at the BANK OF MAURITIUS , which is the Central Bank.

However, you can ask any bank in Mauritius in which you are holding an account or accounts to transfer money to another bank account in South Africa by wire transfer ( faster but costlier) or through a bank draft

Of course you can send money from a Mauritian bank to another bank in SA. That's one of their main businesses!
As mentioned above, you can do a wire transfer or you can use transfer agencies which are affiliated to some local banks like Western Union or Moneygram.
There are fees applicable obviously.
