Buying a new laptop computer in Tunisia

Greetings to All,
After having spent six months outside Tunisia, to be in compliance with Tunisian law regarding foreign reg. vehicles, I am returning soon. Am wondering whether (for example) an Acer Aspire laptop would be either hard to find or prohibitively expensive to buy in Tunisia. I have mine mainly for downloads of films, music, etc. and would hate to have my three year old machine let me down, being a major film buff!

I bought a laptop last year for 700 dinar I felt it was a good investment. It had a freedos system but they put Microsoft on it. They did warn me that the Microsoft office wouldn't work in my country. Of course you can always put linux on instead or buy a real copy of Microsoft office. I know this post is old but I thought I would reply just in case.
