Hi,
I have a bunch of stuff I don't need anymore, a lot of it is quality things like furniture etc.. But what is the best way to sell it in Kenya? I have bad experience with newspaper ads etc.. any suggestions?

Thank you for any help :)

Try the car boot sale at Village Market, there is one every two weeks I think

Also, there will a flea market at LDD (near yaya) on 21st of May

And usually other international schools do have also a flea market once a year.

For big stuff like furniture, then the best way is to use FB Marketplace because you don't have to put your phone number nor adress, everything is done through FB messages.

Like peperuka said, flea markets are a great way of selling your stuff. Have had both good and bad experience with it though, since sometimes you dont get what you think your things are worth.. Which newspapers did you try before? East African Standard and Daily Nation?
You can also try sell your things online? You can put your things as a classified ad even on this site! I've heard about this new kenyan auction site, maybe try that? People love everything online these days right? Its called zabunisoko. Heres the link if you want to check it out: zabunisoko.com/

Good luck :D

Hi c_ell, welcome on board! :)

You may also post adverts in the Kenya classifieds under buy and sell section.

Wish you good luck
