I am from Venezuela living for many years ago in Germany. I am a Computer Sciences Engineer and looking for a job in UAE.

Implementation in: (SharePoint, C#, C, Java, Perl, SQL, PHP, html, Cobol, Clipper, Pascal, Turbo Basic, Oracle 7.0, Visual Basic 6.0) Analyse and Design, Consulting, Testing, Creating Methods for Implementation, Networks, Implementing Software Solutions for MOSS 2007, Configuration and Administration for Sharepoint Field, Team Foundation Server 2010, Preparing Technical Documentation with UML, OOA, OOD and Gibing Presentations for clients.

I'd say Dubai has an oversaturation of qualified developers from India/Pakistan so it could be a tough market to compete in. I was looking at this myself a few years ago and the salaries weren't great due to so much competition.

Dubai is expensive to live in so you'd really want to be making a decent wage.
