New members of the Martinique forum, introduce yourselves here - 2018

Hi all,

Newbie on the Martinique forum? Don't know how to start?

This thread is for you ;)

We invite you to introduce yourself on this topic, to share with us your expat story if you are already living in the country, or to tell us more on your expat projects in Martinique if you are planning to move there.

It will enable us to help you better but above all to wish you a warm welcome.

Welcome on board!

Hi Julien,

I moved to Martinique recently (2 months ago). I am originally from Poland. So far my experience has been nice although I find it very difficult to meet any new people in here, so I tend to hang out with the same ones.

Any thoughts from other members?

Hi, I'm N.
I am currently in the Caribbean studying medicine.
I'm thinking of moving to Martinique after school to maybe settle down, work and get old.
I love rock music, jazz and classic.
I'm currently learning the guitar and French Language.
I love playing chess, reading, cooking and hiking.

😁

Hi Julien and everyone,

Nice to meet you!

I'm Russian living in France with my British husband. We're considering moving to either Martinique, Guadeloupe or St. Martin. Both of us work from home so finding a job locally isn't an issue. France is great but way too cold for my husband's liking (we live in the South) and a bit too bland for me. Both of us speak fluent French. We're yet undecided which of the three islands to choose so we're counting on your advice and wealth of experience! I look forward to reading your posts!
