Based on my calculations from my little experience .
Housing : A decent 2 bedroom apartment with one bath  in  and around koror would cost 800 to 1000 $
A single bedroom 500 to 700$
Still cheaper around 250 to 350 are available it depends on what you are looking for.
And  most of the houses are not fully furnished.
Transport:  No public transport .On a long term basis you can buy a used car around 3000 to 4000$ depending on your needs or still higher if you want newer version and can sell it when you leave.Renting a car per month would cost 1000 to 1500$ Per day would be 55$. Gasoline is 4.5$ per gallon.
Eating out: A good meal would be around40-50 $ for two people. Or can buy bento boxes at 4 to 5 $.
Milk: 3$ per litre
Cooking oil: 5 $ per 2 lit
Bread: 12 slice 2$
Eggs:12 4$
Rice : 5 lbs 8to 10 $
Vegetables: 2 to 3 lbs per lbs
Apples gala: 2 to 3 per lb
Banana 12: 3$
Papaya: 1$ per lb
Local fish :2 to 3$ per lb
Chicken 2$ per lb
Internet : Expensive getting an unlimited wifi would cost around 125 $ per month
3G  1$ per GB changes with plans.
Phone calls prepaid local  60 centsper min incoming and outgoing . Use wisely
Landline free up to a limit.
Buyingclothes in Palau is expensive and of not so good quality  bring them while you come.
Electricity: 50 to 100 $ depending on usage
Entertainment
Diving 60 to 100$ excluding dive gear
Trip to Rock islands 50 to 100 $ depending on no of people on boat
Waterfall: 10 to 20 $ only entry
Helicopter ride:150 to 200$
Buffet lunch/dinner: 20 to 50$ per person
Gym: 100$ per month

I see you have a very nice island that you are living at the moment.  Why are you interested in Palau that is half way around the world from you.

Life living on an island, I think is the same there were you are, and here where I am.
